A straw hue for this pleasing style of Pinot Gris. As with the Grigio, notes of spicy stewed pears are to the fore, but well supported by flavours ranging through florals, citrus, grapefruit, melons and apples. Quite a seductive texture and a long, lingering finish, this is well balanced and should provide pleasure over the next three to five years. A most impressive Pinot Gris.
