It’s elegantly expressed on the nose with aromas of apricot, lemon peel, vanilla, roasted hazelnut, and oatmeal. The palate offers a fine poise and flow, beautifully framed by creamy texture and brightly pitched acidity, finishing persistent and
enticing. At its best: now to 2031.

Chardonnay from a single vineyard located a lofty 530 metres above sea level. Fermentation was in French oak, 15% of which was new. The wine then enjoyed a further four months on lees for maturation. An attractive lemon green hue, this is a most
elegant, leaner style of Chardonnay with good drive and focus. A wine of medium length, there is a tiny flick of oak evident, but the flavours revolve around white peaches, florals and grapefruit notes. An appealing style for enjoying over the next
three to five years.

This is a refreshing chardonnay with lemon barley, white peach and pear flavours moving gradually into apple and nougat. Its has good flavour and mouthfeel though it’s all set within a juicy, mouthwatering context. It’s drinking well already, even
though it’s only a few months old, and it will improve over the next few years too.
