The first organic vintage produced solely from our Nairne vineyard, which has yielded a deeper and more concentrated level of fruit flavour from the vines. The wine reveals a layered and complex profile of red currant, bramble, bay leaf and star anise, with decadent dark chocolate. A bold palate of fresh blackberry, liquorice and red plum notes merge with white pepper and nuanced spices. Wrapped with lingering velvety tannins, this wine is an excellent match for food, with great cellaring potential. Our Adelaide Hills benchmark for 2023, age-worthy beyond 15 years.
