Fresh oysters, shellfish, goat cheese, grilled white fish and Asian cuisine.

10% hand harvested. 10% whole bunch, 90% destemmed fruit. Stainless steel tanks, French oak barriques and puncheons.

Citrus-driven aromas with undertones of white pepper, jalapeno, lime leaf, crushed stones and flint. The palate is light-bodied, with a bright line of acidity and a tightly wound mouthfeel, finishing with a mineral edge. Nicely constructed, with a good core of fruit. Drink now. Screw cap.

Offers a stunning, intense and energetic mix of ripe peach, Meyer lemon, Key lime and fresh Honeycrisp apple notes, with accents of litsea oil, toasted green tea and Himalayan sea salt on the finish. A touch of lemon balm lingers. Drink now.

Intensity of flavour here is right up there. Steel, passionfruit, lemongrass and a gentle infusion of woodsmoke. There’s a pippy aspect to this, as a positive. There’s texture but it’s not too glossy; it feels refined. Everything is in alignment here. This is good.

Sourced from several parcels on the stony, limestone-influenced soils of the Martinborough Terrace. The nose is remarkably intense, with frozen lime and a lift of jalapeño adding a subtle spiciness. Layers of passion fruit, pineapple, and pulpy mango follow, interwoven with a delicate garden pea note that imparts a gentle herbal edge. It’s a little like sipping a mojito on a tropical beach; refreshing, vibrant, and inviting. On the palate, the interplay of spice, citrus, and tropical fruit is carried by a thirst-quenching acidity, finishing dry and persistent. Everything here is so finely judged that, if Sauvignon Blanc from this part of the world must be taken in small doses, this bottle is one you’ll happily return to again and again.

A Savvy from the Martinborough region in New Zealand, rather than the more familiar Marlborough, yet it still offers the classic Kiwi flavours. The slightly cooler climate gives the wine some welcome drive. There are 10% whole bunches used, with fermentation in stainless steel, French oak barriques and French oak puncheons, 2% new. The colour is a shimmering pale lemon, while the nose exhibits powerful aromatics, with passionfruit, guava, citrus, nettles and a hint of lantana, but it is the tropical characters which are to the fore. There is bright, slightly crunchy acidity and impressive length. An obvious Savvy style, which fans will love. Enjoy over the next four years.
