"Attractively ripe and elegantly fragrant, the wine showcases white fleshed nectarine, lemon peel, Nashi pear, and jasmine nuances on the nose, followed by a brightly expressed palate that displays youthful fruit flavours with fine texture and crisp acidity, offering delightful drinking. At its best: now to 2029."

"A straw hue for this pleasing style of Pinot Gris. As with the Grigio, notes of spicy stewed pears are to the fore, but well supported by flavours ranging through florals, citrus, grapefruit, melons and apples. Quite a seductive texture and a long, lingering finish, this is well balanced and should provide pleasure over the next three to five years. A most impressive Pinot Gris."

The bargain of the year when I unwrapped this Tumbarumba Gris. From a local winemaker this wine easily matches those sold for triple the price.
