"Offering fabulous fruit purity, the wine shows lime cordial, lemon pith, crunchy apple, and wet limestone nuances on the nose. The palate exhibits fine focus and persistence, splendidly structured by refined texture and vibrant acidity, making it mouth-watering and lingering. At its best: 2026 to 2038."

"A fine Clare Valley Riesling, named as a tribute to friendship. Hard not to raise a glass to that. The colour is a straw yellow. Lemon curd notes, honeysuckle, citrus including a touch of limes, plus a flick of pineapple are all evident on the nose. There is a minerally support system in place, running the length, with fine acidity and a chalky backing. Medium to good length, this can be expected to continue to improve during the years to come and it will offer excellent drinking over the next eight to ten years. The flavours are perhaps a little more forward than some at the moment, but there is evidence that this might be indicative of the vintage. An impressive Riesling."
