"The whole gamut of aromas that you can expect from a quality Cabernet Sauvignon are there: cedar, cigar box, dried thyme, juniper berries, blackberries, and black currant, to name a few. The tannic structure is still robust, almost entering that granular, graphite-like stage. An attractive mid-palate where the black fruit shines through, bypassing the savouriness of the oak. Good length with an alternation of bitterness reminiscent of freshly brewed coffee, savouriness and fruit. Ample length for this big boy."

"Sweetly fruited and complex, the wine shows dark plum, dried herb, cured meat and toasted almond notes, leading to a beautifully weighted palate offering supple texture backed by fine tannins, finishing wonderfully long and harmonious. A blend of grapes from Clare Valley & Barossa Valley. At its best: now to 2034."

"A multi-regional blend from the Clare and Barossa Valleys, there is lots to love here. The colour is a deep, dark maroon. The nose sees aromas of plums, cloves, leather, spices, axle grease, bergamot, dark chocolate and mocha. Supple texture here with ultra-fine and ever-so-sleek tannins and very good length. A generous wine providing most attractive drinking, one which will continue to do so for the next eight to twelve years."
