“Sumptuous and opulent while remaining gracious and firmly structured, the wine is packed with dark and purple fruit richness, cedary oak, smoked game and dark chocolate characters. The impressively concentrated palate displays awesome density and weight combined with multi-layered mouthfeel, finishing superbly long and satisfying. At its best: now to 2038. $60.00.”

“A block and barrel selection from the ****** Greenock estate; aged in French oak (45% new) for 18 months. Impressively coloured and sporting deep, juicy plum, blue and boysenberry fruits underscored with hints of baking spices, cedar, pepper, dark chocolate, pressed purple flowers, grilled figs and ferrous earth. Excellent fruit weight and purity with a powdery tannin framework and some ironstone heft to the plummy fruit depth on the finish.. Drink to 2033.”

“Block and barrel selected from ****** Greenock vineyard - 40% new French oak. Floral and lifted perfume, Kirsch, violets, panforte and a cooling minty sage character. Tannins slowly rise to a crescendo, they are delicate but firm and have drive and amplitude. Powerful wine with a dense fruit core and a savoury cocoa finish.”
