"Another thoroughly enjoyable and good value Shiraz from a cracking vintage in McLaren Vale. Maturation was in both French and American oak. The colour is a deep magenta while the nose gives us notes of black fruits, soy, beefstock, dry herbs, cassis, chocolate and an intriguing touch of gum leaf. The oak is well handled. This is an attractive wine, finely textured, of medium weight and good length. Enjoy this over the next six to eight years."
