Charlotte Dalton 2023 Love me Love you Shiraz

The grapes are from the Deanery vineyard in Balhannah - Adelaide Hills. 30% whole bunch in the ferment. The ferment is pressed to oak when all the sugar is used up. 30% of the oak is new French hogsheads. The wine is plush, bright and delicious but also has a very serious side to it. Raspberry, blueberry and spice dominate the nose. The palate is soft and juicy but it finishes long with lots of little, structure building tannin and a gentle grip.
